Developing Training Excellence

The workshop engaged participants in developing a stronger understanding of the adult learner. Topics covered included: overview of adult learning theories, characteristics of adult learners, issues and trends in the practice of adult education, as well as strategies of facilitation to accommodate the variety of ways in which adults prefer to learn. In addition, equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) practices in relation to adult education were also covered.
